SS-1 is a slow-setting cationic emulsion formulated to remain workable long enough to coat fine and dense-graded aggregate. It is the go-to product for prime coats over granular bases, fog seals over aged surfaces and plant or in-situ cold mixes.
Its low viscosity allows deep penetration into WMM and GSB layers, sealing the surface and binding fines before the bituminous course is laid.
