Bitumen Emulsion RS-1 is a rapid-setting cationic emulsion produced by dispersing paving-grade bitumen in water with a cationic emulsifier. It is the standard tack-coat material on flexible pavements, providing a strong bond between the existing surface and the fresh bituminous layer.

Because it breaks within minutes of application, RS-1 lets you lay DBM or BC without long waiting periods — critical on night works and traffic-diverted carriageways. Supplied conforming to IS 8887 in bulk tankers and 200 kg drums with batch test certificates.
